  • Cool Free Downloads - includes worksheets and supplemental materials not found in our book and workbook.  Here you'll also find articles, lists and materials that we've found from other great sources - to make you think, to help you plan, and to make you smile.  We try to cover a wide variety of subjects and needs - from planning to send your child to college, to getting prepared for retirement.  We're continually adding new downloads - so check back from time to time.

    NEW:

You can then choose to save or print off the pages and have them all for yourself - FREE. Now's the perfect time to get started on working on the forms and ideas you always wanted and needed to get down in writing. Filling out this workbook will get you started on the road to a complete and very useful personal safety net.
  • Getting Started - for new readers and those clicking around our website looking for information and answers.  You may be wondering: What is a personal safety net? Why is it important? Can a family do this? How much work will it take? How will it benefit my life?  The answers to these and so many other questions are answered right here.  This is the place to begin!  It's a reader friendly section in Q & A format.
  • Tips and Reader's Q & A - a chance for you to learn from others' experiences and questions, plus some of our own input. This page also has it's own Search Button, so you can easily find the exact topic that you're looking for quickly.
  •  Safety Net Stories - are stories, contributed by readers and workshop participants, expressing how personal safety nets and care share teams have made a difference in their lives. Reading the stories of others will provide advise, expertise and comfort.
  • Share Your Story - here's your chance to share how you used, created, or shared in a personal safety network. Whether it was helping your child get settled in college, planning for a family event, providing help to another, or uniting your neighborhood block, you've got a story to tell - and we want to hear it!
  • Helpful Links - links to a few of the organizations - providing a wide range of services to individuals and businesses - we have dealt with personally and stand behind
